DW Research Plot

OK, so this is a site wide plot. Everyone can get involved. You can have as many characters or as few as you would like in the plot. This will be a plot with multiple threads and not every character needs to be involved in every thread, that would get hectic I’m sure.

Here is the basic plot premise:

A group of characters come together in an effort to study the dimension warp that fractured the multiverse in order to hopefully prevent something like it from ever happening again.

These characters need not necessarily be good or altruistic. I can easily see many reasons a variety of characters might get involved such as;

-Self preservation - they don’t want to die in a dimensional, multiverse wide catastrophe

-Fame - they want to be known and respected for solving such a complex problem

-Fortune - they may want to steal the research in the end and hold it for ransom should a warp ever occur again

-Altruism - they may just want to help prevent any future loss of life

-Closure - maybe they lost someone in the first warp and want to discover why and exactly how it all happened.

The list goes on. The sky is the limit on motivations here, seriously.

There are so many possibilities with this plot; friendly bantering threads, betrayal threads, science-y magic-y research threads, frustration threads, depressed threads like seriously i could go on and on.

So far, I do currently have an open thread with Rorschach studying the dimensional rifts and getting sucked into one that could be used as part of this plot.
