[smear:85466F]SORA ROSE[/smear:8CA255:1] "I'm sorry to disappoint you, ....but the angels; ...they're all dead." A sigh of pleasure escaped her lips; back arching beneath him; there bodies pressing closer together. He moaned; his hands tightening around her wrists for a moment before he collapsed against her. He chuckled then and Sora purred at the feeling of his body vibrating against hers. Her eyes slipped closed and she smiled; savoring the delicious aura in the room. Her skin was glistening; in part from sweat; in part from having the incubus inside of her satisfied. The glow; subtle as it was, was just enough to mark her as something beyond human. Her lover shifted his weight from her then; his hands releasing her wrists; one hand gliding up her arm and across her chest as he moved. He pressed his lips to her temple and Sora smiled shyly up at the tender display of affection. She'd known him for months now; he was always gentle with her; always tender and sweet, but they both knew this was all they could ever have. Sora had no more desire for him than she did any other client, and he was smart enough to understand that. Still; he treated her as a lover, not as a simple pleasure. Sora had almost stopped seeing him because of his attitude during their trysts. She enjoyed her time with him, but he was still only a source of sustenance; a means to survival. She needed men like him to survive, but she knew she could survive without him and simply find another if need be. It was difficult sometimes to remember that; easy to forget when she was reveling in the aftermath of their trysts; feeling utterly satisfied while he traced patterns on her flesh with his fingers and lips. She'd chosen all of her clients and she never kept those around that weren't gentle, but she couldn't deny that he was different from the others. Where the rest of them would have succumbed to their exhaustion and satisfaction and fallen asleep; he continued to kiss and caress her, simply for the pleasure of more time beside her. This was dangerous; they both knew it. She shouldn't have allowed it, but it was easy to succumb to the allure of affection. It was admittedly better; more satisfying to feed off someone she liked. She didn't have to feed as often when she spent time with him. That allowed him more time to recover from the feeding which allowed her to choose to spend time with him more often. Eventually it would kill him no matter who lost control of their emotions first. She found herself holding her breath at the very thought. She closed her eyes and her heart began to race suddenly; her body tensed and then began to shake. She sat up; pulling away from his touches. She reached for the silk robe on the floor as she stood up and threw it around her shoulders. "Sora?" he asked her name softly; his voice full of concern. [smear:8CA255]"Rest as long as you need, Caleb."[/smear:85466F:1] she said with a smile over her shoulder and walked away; into the soft darkness of the room. She slipped out the door quickly; nodding to the guards in the hall. She hurried to increase the distance between them and blurred through the halls of her home. After mere moments she found herself on the other side of the house where only she and a few staff were allowed access. She stood out on the balcony; the cool night air brushing gently over her warm flesh. The moon was a mere sliver of light, but the stars above were glistening brightly; casting their silver light down upon her. Her pale blue eyes shimmered with annoyance. She'd let him too close; she'd dropped her guard. It was more dangerous each time she let it happen. She couldn't fall in love; the passion of such a union was uncontrollable; she could kill him, and she couldn't let him love her either, because he could become addicted. It had to end now. Humans were too easy; no matter how much he knew that he couldn't love her; couldn't have her, he was going to fall in love with her. She took a deep breath and nodded. [smear:8CA255]"Alright then."[/smear:85466F:1] she sighed as she turned around and slipped back into the house. She picked up the phone on the table just inside the door and dialed the only number she ever called. There was an answer before the first ring was through. [smear:8CA255]"Nickie, it's Sora."[/smear:85466F:1] she replied. [smear:8CA255]"I'd like Caleb to be removed from my client list. He may enjoy Kindra more. I'll need another to take his place of course. Tomorrow evening if there are new clients available."[/smear:85466F:1] she paused as the person on the other line spoke. [smear:8CA255]"No, no, Caleb is a respectful client, Nickie. You know how I am; easily bored is all."[/smear:85466F:1] she answered the women's questions. This wasn't the first time this had happened, nor would it be the last, but Sora never told Nickie or her employer the truth. They wouldn't understand a succubus falling in love so easily; it wasn't exactly normal, nor a desirable trait for someone in her line of work. They often forgot, however, that Sora was part human. [smear:8CA255]"Thank you, Nickie."[/smear:85466F:1] Sora said softly before hanging up the phone. Sora was feeling more herself already and she stretched before letting the robe slide away from her body. She didn't bother to close the door to the balcony and headed straight for her bed. |
